Aeroplane Purified Linseed Oil is a variant of a popular oil painting medium in raw linseed oil. It possesses qualities similar to linseed oil, but with one key difference - having a lower acid content. This is typically done through a chemical process in which alkali is added to the oil, but can also be done otherwise. The resulting mix has a lower yellow-ness to the oil, but possesses the same general tendencies as linseed oil which makes it good in art use.
Purified Linseed Oil: Purified or Refined Linseed Oil is linseed oil processed in usually an alkali solution to reduce the acidity of the oil.
Purified Linseed Oil is also slow drying, but has significantly less yellowing tendencies compared to pure linseed oil
Oil Medium: Linseed oil is miscible with different oil paints. You can use it as a base with other oil based paints.
Cleaning Paint Brushes: It is easy to clean brushes by soaking them in Linseed Oil and wiping the oil mix.
Linseed Oil Painting: Put a little bit of oil on the tip of the brushes and spread it on the canvas. You can do your painting after that.
